This course follows the evidence-based 8 week programme introduced by Jon-Kabat Zinn in 1979, the courses have helped people to cope with and improve upon symptoms and conditions such as: Chronic Pain and sleep problems as well as managing depression.

The course is run by Mindfulness Teacher Tom Powell who trained through Mind in Salford and is a registered teacher through the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA).

We offer bespoke days out with a focus on feeling safe and gently challenged so that you can embrace the present moment. Through adventure we can share opportunities for Mindfulness or learning new skills.

Mindfulness & Yoga Courses

Mindfulness and Yoga are a form of discipline that can help us to live a more stress free, healthy and content way of life. Tom is a qualified Mindfulness teacher and Laura is a certified Yoga teacher and they offer a variety of online and in-person courses, sessions and workshops.

I began this process with the intention of exploring mindfulness practices in a guided format as I have previously struggled to stick with it myself. The outdoor climb was a challenging route for myself and I didn’t think I would actually make it to the top, but Laura gave me some great advice on different techniques and her calming manner meant I was relaxed when climbing. I achieved the aim and actually made it to the top which I was really excited about! Plus the views were fantastic! When we climbed indoors Laura pushed me to try my first indoor lead climb, again with great coaching from her and the feeling of complete trust I gave it a go and again achieved the aim of getting to the top!
